Untitled - Mount Isa, Australia
2 Stars  This place was Poor visited May 1992
I found this place awful, nothing to do unless you enjoy copper-lead-silver & zinc mines to which Mount Isa has the largest underground mines consisting of these.

North Queensland - Townsville, Australia
4 Stars  This place was Great visited May 1992
Townsville was a lively town. A trip to Magnetic Islands ( 20 minutes by fast cat ferry ) is a must as its beautiful. Another trip i would recommend is Great Barrier Reef. That was awesome.

Gold Coast - Coolangatta, Australia
4 Stars  This place was Great visited May 1992
The name says it all....... A visit to Coolangatta should also include a trip to Surfers Paradise which is only 20 minutes away. There are a number of bars and clubs around Coolangatta which makes it a lively nightlife centre.

My Base ~ Central Coast - East Gosford, Australia
4 Stars  This place was Great visited May 1992
I stayed here purely because i have relatives that lived there at the time. Its an ideal location as only 90 minutes to Sydney on a train and also about 60 minutes to Newcastle on a train. Erina Shopping Center is only about 10 mins on a bus and about 20 mins away from nearest beach ~ Avoca Beach. Gosford / Central Coast Legions Club is huge and plenty to keep you entertained there.

No Snow ! - Alpbach, Austria
3 Stars  This place was Average visited Dec 1991
Stayed at the Apartments Larchnhof which was located within two kms of the village. Although there was no snow at the time i visited there was plenty up on the mountains which is where most of the people staying ventured to. Although its a quiet village during the day the night time is different as various hotels, chalets & apartments had entertainment on and there was a local bar / disco which was very lively.
