After spending a night catching up and i will admit playing GTA 2, we awoke early in the morning and went back to Salzburg (well for Tom it was his first time!).
Just our luck that it was the 250th anniversary of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s birthday, and so the entire town was celebrating, bands were playing and the churches were filled with the amazing sound of a 250 voice choir (They sang pretty well for a bunch of Americans).
I had a Sulzberger which is simply a hamburger by any other name while tom tried a fat filled cheese coated bratwurst sausage!
Anyway back to Traunstein we go, Carla Besieger is celebrating her graduation tonight with a mass followed by their senior formal (For those Americans reading this Senior Prom) and she has asked me to attend and so I’m going to be pulling on my best pair of jeans, a good pair of brown shoes that Tom has given me, throw on a Jacket that Abe will lend me and try desperately not to embarrass Australia.
As Always
Carpe Diem

After arriving back in Traunstein from Salzburg, i bid goodbye to my canadian friends and went swimming in lake Kimsey. Both Steven and Lindsey make great company and the truth be told i've missed people that i can joke around with that understand exactly what it is i'm saying!
Mountain biking, swimming and lots of walking through Traunstein has revelead a trully picturesque natural environment where every vista is breathtaking and postcard worthy.
The Biesingers are great hosts and i'm enjoying their company immensly, Last night i was invited to Carla's graduating class final party (Think 80, 19 year old students drinking a lot of alcohol) which brought me back to my 18th and schoolies week. It was a most interesting evening!
Anyway i'm off to take the dog for a walk and get some more milk from the shops, Tom Kaye should be arriving today and i'm looking forward to catching up with him as well!
