Baroua : A legendary site at Lac Chad Coast - Baroua, Niger

Baroua is a city at the western coast of Lac Chad. It is one of the largest city and commerce center, after Diffa, the state capital. At 1885, german explorator Henry Barth was amazed by its population: almost 5,000 men for the army. Later, the boarder in betewing french colony Niger and English'one Niger, was first kept as the mythic "Line Say Baroua".
