The Econo Lodge Times Square is completely new (at least on the inside). Everything is nice, new and clean. The free internet and breakfast are pluses. However, the hotel has the smallest rooms I have ever seen in Manhattan - and that is saying a lot for those familiar with the tiny rooms you typically get in Manhattan. So if you are looking for value and don't mind sleeping in a closet, this is a good deal. If you want to be able to walk around your room without banging into everything all the time, look elsewhere.

Beware! The train tracks in Tucson run along the 10 freeway, which Comfort Inn North is next to. You will get noisy trains going by late at night. If you are a light sleeper, avoid this one. Also it takes quite a bit of time to get from here to University of Arizona and downtown, in case those are your destinations. But aside from the issues above, this is a very good value for the money.
