I was very impressed with this hotel. I am not a Hooters fan, but this place is fun! It is a small casino, very comfy. All of the employees that I encountered were very nice. They have a 50's type diner inside that is fun, along with a traditional Hooters restaurant. The location is great, across the street from MGM and one block from NYNY and Excalibur, and next to the Tropicana.

This hotel is no longer affiliated with the Days Inn chain. They haven't even removed the dead Days Inn sign that looks that it has caught fire. The neighborhood is scary at best and not near any touristy things.

This hotel is very convenient to Sam's Town (across the street). It is in bad need of a remodel. The elevators bounce to a stop, and the outside of the elevators on the second floor is put back together with a piece of plywood. There are tons of places where people have scratched their names into the elevators. The attached casino is a cute little homey place, not crowded at all. This would be an affordable place to stay, but since the staff wasn't friendly at all and Sam's town and RV park is across the street with tons of neat things to see and do and very nice staff, I would not stay at the Super 8.

This hotel is very handy if you are wanting to walk right out onto the Fremont street mall area. The staff is all very pleasant. There is not very much for kids to do, no pool (you have the option of using the Plaza hotel next door) and there is a strip club next door with live video in the front window, so I wouldn't want to stay in this area with my kids.
