Excellent Find on the Fly

This was a great place to stay. I would recommend reservations as they do tend to fill up (they have a lot of conference rooms and conferences). Check in was easy. They allowed our dog for a reasonable fee (a lot of the surrounding hotels charge a huge non-refundable deposit). The front desk was very friendly.

The beds are comfortable! They give you a choice of 3 different pillows. Room service is available for breakfast and dinner. Prices for the room service breakfast are fair.

The phone next to the bed did not work, fortunately the one on the desk did. The water in the shower could have been a little hotter, but it worked and was okay.

When in Concord, I will definitely stay at the Holiday Inn!

I am very likely to return to the Holiday Inn Concord.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Comfortable Beds And Hot Showers!

This Ramada has really comfortable beds! (and 4 great pillows on each bed) The water for baths and showers is hot! Not lukewarm, like some other hotels. Even though the hotel is near the highway, the room is quiet. The hotel is conveniently located..there is a Denny's, gas station and Cracker Barrel nearby. It is also close to Sedona and downtown Flagstaff. We stayed for 6 nights and housekeeping was great. This Ramada is pet friendly. The breakfast is okay.

Our only issue was that the wireless internet was inconsistent at best. Sometimes it worked in the evening, but not always. Nonetheless, this Ramada is a great place to stay!

I am very likely to return to the Ramada Limited Flagstaff.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Beautiful Views and Friendly Service

Ohmygosh! The views from this hotel are great. It is situated on the San Juan River, smack dab in Monument Valley (remember the John Wayne films?). Mexican Hat is tiny (population = 90), but provides enough interest. The rooms are decorated in the knotty pine western theme...which are great! They have a pet policy and our dog was welcome. The staff is friendly and more than willing to work with you (it is family owned). There is a wonderful outdoor steakhouse just down the street.

The only thing that didn't work for us: the beds we had were hard and there were problems in receiving the internet. Otherwise, The Hat Rock Inn works perfectly for a stay in Monument Valley (and Valley of the Gods).

I am somewhat likely to return to the Hat Rock Inn.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Not a Bad Place to Stay

I am really glad that hotels keep up with maintenance..while we were there, they were painting the exterior of half of the hotel...so that half was not usable by guests. It would have been nice if we had been told that beforehand. We stayed on a Saturday, and the half that was open was packed. Apparently there was a school group that was staying there...because the outside corridors were very noisy. Around 10:30 PM, I called the front desk and the young man was very nice about it...telling me that Security was trying to get the message to the younger, undisciplined guests.

The room was very comfortable. Nice chairs, good desk. The bed was great. I have found that La Quinta has some great beds! No concrete slabs here! The only problem was in the morning there was very little hot water. We didn't even turn on the cold water for the shower and still the shower was lukewarm.

Breakfast was interesting. They provide such a small space for it in the lobby. The set up they do have gets quite congested...we just left and had breakfast down the street at a local cafe. The "do-it-yourself-waffles" is a nice idea...but by the the time you get done making them, there is a huge line/back up and the line gets quite congested. If you are the waffle maker, you feel that people are breathing down your back to get to the machine. There is a minimal offering at breakfast.

The staff was friendly and helpful. This La Quinta is dog friendly, which I totally appreciate. There was no charge for my dog to stay.

I am somewhat likely to return to the La Quinta Inn Ventura.
I might recommend it to friends.
