The amenities for the signature club level where we stayed, includes access to the Signature Club room, offering an enhanced continental breakfast in the mornings, and hors d'oeuvres in the evening, including an assortment of alcohol.

The resort sits right on Victoria Harbour, overlooking parliament buildings, the Royal BC museum, the empress hotel, and many other sites.

Also available is a wonderful bar and restaurant, featuring some splendid martinis, which are a must-have when traveling.

The concierges are very helpful, and can even provide suggestions for clubs and nightlife which is within walking distance, or a short ride on the Victoria Harbour ferry.

It’s in a great location, great services, and has a friendly atmosphere.

The hotel also offers internet access, in-room mini-bar, cable TV, and a pants press in the room.

This hotel is in a great location, as it's right up the street from Michigan Ave, across from the Trump Towers (under construction as of Sept 2006), and is within walking distance of massive shopping areas and restaurants.

The interior is pretty classy, with new age decoration, has a bar that takes up an entire wall, and the Martinis here are awesome.

Unfortunately, there are some downsides to this location. It's a huge conference facility, and with two towers, it is incredibly confusing to find your way around. The prices for anything in restaurants, bars, and even the in-room dining are exorbitant and unaffordable on a traveler’s budget, and the hotel itself is much too costly for the value received.

They do not offer complimentary high speed access, which today, is an absolute must. They have it, but it's expensive and you pay per 24 hours of use.

Probably the worst part about this hotel is the Stetson's restaurant. I had, quite possibly, the most horrendous customer service experience in my life at this location. The hosts were completely rude to our party, refused to seat us until 100% of our group were there, even when we only had one person we were waiting for and had asked three times to be seated, they would not seat us. The waiter was rude and inattentive to simple things like water refills, and the food cost was too high for even our most pretentious attendees.

I would never recommend this hotel, and I would never stay there again. It does not meet my needs as a leisure or business traveler.

I booked this trip through Expedia, so I really did not have much else to go on besides the beautiful photos and amenities list.

When we arrived, the driver on the airport shuttle whispered to us that we had picked the best hotel in the entire harbor, so things were looking good.

The resort is lovely, and sits right on Victoria Harbour, but is away from the main tourist traffic, especially the sea plane landing spot and marina, that's where you'll find the ivy covered Empress Hotel.

Personally, I like this spot better. We have a complete view of the harbor from the Signature Club level room, and we have a corner room so we get a full view around! It's quiet, away from the noisy tourist traffic, and the inside is appointed with classy touches.

They had real marble light fixtures, a marble staircase, tasteful use of glass in the bar to create separation, views of the full harbor from the veranda and the restaurant and bar, full amenities on this level, including the signature club with free appetizers and drinks before dinner, health club, spa, internet access, business suites, and a concierge to help with any special requests.

It was wonderful!

The things I liked most:

The location was right next to the lighthouse on the water, providing a very quick walk to the ocean.

The breakfast service in the suites was fast, efficient, and free!

Every afternoon they offer hors dehouvres, and wine tasting in the lounge, again free.

The staff was pleasant, friendly, and we would love to stay there again.
