Friendly but poor service
Excellent hotel right on the beach in The Gambia. Was only let down by the very poor service. The staff were very friendly but just didn't really seem to have things under control e.g. we were seated, provided menus (from which we ordered food) and had received our drinks we ordered in conjunction with the food only to be told about five minutes later that they weren't serving food that day and if we wanted food we would have to go to a buffet in a restaurant in another part of the hotel. It was also not uncommon to wait an hour for the dinner bill despite numerous requests and it was normally incorrect once you did receive it.
However, overall it is a great hotel for a relaxing week holiday.
Note: It was January and there was very few mosquitos but my girlfriend did get bitten by a mosquito in our room.
