Okay for the right price
The location of the Galleria Park Hotel is definitely the best part of this hotel, especially for someone wanting to be near downtown and Union Square, but not right on Market. Otherwise, the "boutique" nature of this hotel is questionable since it's really just old and has very small rooms. Staff is decent but nothing special, and the same goes for the lobby. The recreational amenities don't exist despite their advertisements (running circles on a roof deck shouldn't count!). Overall, it's a decent option if you use Priceline like I did, but otherwise there are much better choices in SF. Bar and restaurant attached to lobby are great though.
