Thai style boutique accommodation
Ocean Breeze is where we stayed in Hua Hin on our second visit. These are bungalows a short walk to the beach. Our bungalow also had a small private pool, just big enough to splash around in to cool down but not big enough to swim. But having the small pool was a bonus and I doubt you can find anywhere with this for the low price.The beds were very comfortable with nice cotton duvets, and we had our own garden. Breakfast is served in the garden or your patio. Staff are very helpful and very friendly. Rooms had DVD players and well as TV and cable, there was a good selection of movies to borrow. In room coffee maker and mini bar.
We knew the area already so knew where to eat and where to go. Ocean Breeze is for those who want to stay in a smaller place with highly personal service. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
I must mention breakfast again, how charming to be asked what you would like instead of just a buffet, I love Mangoes and lots of fresh fruit, this we had together with a cooked breakfast, endless tea or coffee and juices. True 'a la carte' breakfast. Our bungalow also had seperate sitting room which is great when you want some time on your own. The extra space plus the garden and pool together made for a lovely stay. Natural and Thai in style. Boutique B&B style.
Ideal if you wan to feel you are really in Thailand but with plenty of comforts, excellent value for the price.
