I was at L'Enfant for a conference. When I looked it up online and saw the pictures I expected a very hoity-toity hotel. In a way, I'm glad that I was wrong. I think that they have let the interior of the property go somewhat but that is made up for with customer service and food. There was a concierge there that couldn't do enough for you. We had breakfast, morning and afternoon food service each day of the conference and all I can say is "WOW!!!" It certainly wasn't your usual popcorn and soda and we never get breakfast at other conferences. They went above and beyond in food. And the location, it was in the middle of everything. We walked about 3 or 4 blocks and there was the Smithsonian, the National Mall, the Capitol, the monuments, and other museums. I would suggest staying here if you are looking for a place in the middle of the action.

I cannot believe the freebies you get at this place!

Every morning, that's every morning not just during the week, you get a full breakfast. French toast, waffles, sausage, biscuits and gravy, eggs, muffins, bagels, donuts, cereal (hot and cold), juice, coffee, and milk. The best breakfast ever at a motel. Then you get a manager's reception every night-every night. You can get up to three free drinks a night plus snacks. They don't even let you tip! Ok, if that is not enough you get a free hour of long distance every day. I mean where else do you get that? I almost hate to tell people all this I would like to keep it my little secret.

I have two small complaints and one suggestion. I had to try my key card two or three times before it would work. Then they didn't tell me the code for the gate. My suggestion is that they put some kind of bathmat or something on the bottom of the tub. I almost fell twice.

The staff was awesome! I asked for an extended checkout until 1pm and they gladly accommodated me. I felt safe there of course I also had my dog with me so that helped. Oh yeah, and the price was reasonable. If you have to go to Greensboro, stay at Drury. I wish there were more of them around.
