This is an absolutely terrific hotel. The design is modern, but welcoming. The staff is very friendly and they really care about making your stay pleasant. The rooms are beautiful with super-comfy beds. The bathroom was a little small, but the products provided were top notch (L'Occitane) and the shower was great. The restaurant, Bistro Moderne, is no doubt one of the best in Houston.

I recently spent a couple nights at this hotel. The hotel is beautiful and the staff and concierge very helpful. The rooms are great, they have a modern/classic decor and have the most comfortable beds! The rooms are large, clean, and well stocked. I loved the Aveda amenities in the room. The hotel has one of the nicest gyms I've ever seen, located off the outdoor pool and hot tub. The hotel itself is located right off the highway and within walking to tons of great shopping and restaurants.

The location is convenient and the staff is cordial and friendly. The hotel is older and has been remodeled. The bathrooms are very clean. A coffee maker with coffee and tea was available in the bathroom, along with plenty of complimentary bath items (shampoo, lotion, etc.). The rooms are cozy and were well-appointed with new furnishings and bedding. The beds are ultra-comfortable and extra pillows were already in the room when we arrived. The rooms were nicely sound-proofed, even noise in the hall was hard to detect. The room service was very good and I am very picky about my food. You really get a lot for your money. This was a classy place.
