Do not stay at the Hotel Colorado!

I made a reservation over the phone and this hotel booked me for the wrong day. They charged my credit card and when I called them up about it, they denied it happened and refused to address the problem. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company and this turned into a 5+ month drawn out pain in the *$%. I was scheduled to stay 2 nights with my husband and we actually, trying to be forgiving people, stayed 1 of the nights -- but the staff were awkward, the whole experience tainted, we canceled the 2nd night. (This happened during the dispute process.) We finally got the refund after arbitration and the hotel wasn't very happy. This business is run by incompetent, inconsiderate, dishonest, disrespectful staff. DO NOT EVER STAY AT THE HOTEL COLORADO! STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!!!

Do not stay at the Hotel Colorado! They charged my credit card before I ever stayed there due to an error (they booked us for the wrong day and charged us for a no-show) and it took months to reconcile -- and this only five months later, through arbitration with my credit card company and the hotel's unwilling HR department. This hotel is run by incompetent, dishonest staff and charges more than the hotel rooms are worth anyway. We did stay there during the resolution process, hoping things would smooth over, and sorely regretted staying -- it was awkward, overpriced, and loud. I share this with other travelers so they do not repeat the mistake we did -- do not stay at this hotel. Stay anywhere else!
