This was my first time staying at an Embassy Suites. I found this one to be very nice. The atrium lobby was great. The hotel has interior corridors, but the room was very quiet.

The place to stay in Ellicottville if you're going to Holiday Valley! Right next to the Sunrise chair lift, ski-in/ski-out, big comfortable rooms, convenient parking, right across the street from Cadillac Jacks restaurant. Breakfast isn't bad, at least there's Starbucks coffee. Some rooms have balconies that overlook the slopes. There's a nice (expensive) bar in the lobby, a very nice indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub, and complimentary WiFi in the lobby and rooms surrounding it.

This is a pretty standard Hampton Inn ... comfortable beds, good coffee and decent breakfast, quick check-in/check-out, small pool and fitness center, and a good location right off the highway.

I stayed at the Barbican Hotel in 2003 and found it to be clean and comfortable. Good location, close to the Tubes. I'd recommend it.
