This hotel is right across from one of the UTEP entrances so there's a lot of student traffic, and they think they own the roads. :) The hotel met all my expectations. The only thing I did not like was that you can't serve yourself from the breakfast buffet. I don't like having to ask someone to do that for me when it is a buffet. Also, on the first day I asked for egg white scrambled eggs and the cook served me a microscopic amount. That was somewhat insulting, but was immediately corrected by the senior cook. The restaurant is otherwise good, the service is good, the waiters and waitresses are very responsive and do a great job. The staff always greets you wherever you happen to are. The business center has two computers, a nice copier printer and an HP color printer that can be accessed from the room. There is wired Internet in the rooms but it can be really slow at times. I did not try the wireless.

This used to be the Wall Street Holiday Inn, and it's been taken over by a new chain. The entire hotel has been renovated, even the lobby looks nothing like what it used to be. The checkin process was great, the front desk staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. I was impressed by that. The room is excellent; clean and modern. TV is LCD flat screen, IPTV service with lots of goodies. The A/C is really cold! The beds were extremely comfortable. There was regular turn-down service, right on time and very complete. The only issues I have is that they're still renovating at the lobby level (restaurant) and one of the elevators does not work. The other is deathly slow and it takes a long time to arrive, but that will be fixed soon, I hope. Other than that this is a 100% improvement from when the Holiday Inn had it.

For the price I paid you can't beat this hotel, centrically located in Brussels, great service, great rooms. It was a very, very pleasant experience to stay there.

I stayed here with HHonors points so it was a great deal. The service is very good, attitude of the staff is great, cleanliness is great, but room service and minibar prices are stratospheric. The TV was hard to figure out and not very reliable.
