Elegant!

This is a very elegant hotel. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and luxurious. I travel for business and I have stayed here a number of times. The staff is at the top of my list and extremely professional. For a large hotel... you really feel like you are visiting the home of your really wealthy friend Rockefeller. There is always a member of the staff that is there to take care of anything you need. I will continue to stay here when I come to the DFW area.

Great place to stay right on the harbor!

We stayed here for my sister's wedding on the Odyssey in the harbor. The Boston Harbor Hotel was so convenient being right there on the water. We were so glad not to have to deal with the chaos of Boston traffic and parking, especially since we had a wedding going on and I had my two baby girls with me. This hotel is beautiful and very comfortable. The staff was very "on the ball" as well as courteous. They never made it seem like anything that I asked for was too difficult or complicated. True professionals in the hospitality business. I will be staying here again.

I am very likely to return to the Boston Harbor Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Fabulous Innkeeper and Chef

What a cute place to stay. New London has to be one of the prettiest towns in New Hampshire. This inn is at the top of the hill with long rolling lawns down to the lake. Pleasant Lake is crystal clear and perfect for swimming or boating. I can't say enough good things about the innkeeper and chef. As you enjoy cocktails in the living room, he comes in and gives a little talk to all his guests about what he is preparing for dinner. Because he has a great sense of humor, it makes the evening so much more enjoyable. And.... did I say the food was fantastic. For those of you that like New England B&B's and great food... this is the place to go!

Most miserable innkeeper in New England

I love Lake Sunapee, but Sunapee Harbor Cottages is awful for one major reason: the horribly rude and offensive woman that manages them. Hands down, she wins the award for "The Most Miserable Innkeeper in New England". She is someone that is so obviously NOT meant to be in the hospitality industry. She acts put-out over anything and everything. A simple request of asking where to eat, or what activities were available seemed to tick her off. The website eludes to wonderful services (concierge, babysitting, etc.) that, after meeting the manager, you would be afraid to even ask her about. Not welcoming, not friendly. I would never recommend this place, even to an enemy.
