When looking for a hotel on the Disney property, I wanted something affordable. I saw this place online and tried to book over the phone first. I called up and got a great rate of $89 the first night and $99 the second night, which was much better than the online rate.

When I arrived at the hotel, it looked very nice. The lobby was in the final day of construction so the next day, the front desk opened from it being down a hallway while under constuction. Now it is very nice.

I got a tower room with a view of downtown disney. The room had brand new beds, carpet, paint, and a new bathroom. It was very nice.

I think that the reasons for all of these bad reviews is because the rest of the resorts rooms haven't been renovated yet, but some of them are in the process of being renovated.

Over all, if you reserve a tower room, you will be fine and the room will be very nice.

This hotel is near the entrance to Key West in the new town section. It is a bit far from Duval Street and all the action, but it was still a good place to stay for $169.99 a night (not bad for key west). Check-in was fast and the room that I had looked as if they started renovations and never completed them. For example, the vanity and tile were new and the tub and shower were very old. At least the beds were new. Nicole at the concierge desk booked us on a snorkeling trip for alot less then the price at the dock. Another place Nicole recommend is the conch republic seafood restaurant down in old town Key West right on the water which we tried and it was great. For the price, this place is great if you don't mind driving downtown and finding a place to park which for us wasn't hard.

This motel has gone downhill. It was bad before the hurricane, it is really bad now. It opened for about a week after the storm then closed down and still is to this day. I drove by it and it has barley any windows, a fence that is on the ground and hobos living inside of it. It is possible that it will get fixed up.

The rooms were very clean. It is close to the airport, too.
