I stayed during August 2007, I believe right after restoration complete. Location is right off the highway, parking was good (wasn't too busy though). Decor was done very modern, more of what you would see in larger cities.

Staff was pretty above-average friendly. Glass elevator, conference rooms looked nice. The business room was adequate, although the printer was fritzy.

I enjoyed the fresh furniture and appliances. Dark wood doors, bathroom had a nice glazed glass. Bed was very comfortable, tv was nice. Hallway/rooms very quiet (I requested the farthest room possible). Got a balcony with just enough room to step out on.

The only negative I had was waiting for lunch to be served, since I went when the business travelers were eating. Food was ok, portions were skimpy. Although the buffet looked very good. If given choice, try to run out somewhere else to eat. Also, for brand new carpet. there was gum stuck on it. Or else I would've given a 9/10.

Needed a cat nap so I stopped here because it looked clean. The room was spacious, but very outdated, and smelled way too strong of cleaner. The room had a door on both sides that conjoined the adjacent rooms, making me feel very unsafe. The towels were very worn, but overall the bathroom was clean. The only thing I did like was a separate shower light with a timer. Staff was very friendly at front desk.

They have a very nice layout and atmosphere with landscapes and glass elevators. It was a very inviting and relaxing walk getting to our suite. Parking was cramped due to construction.

Breakfast has all your basic choices of drinks, omelets, muffins, yogurt, fruits. The bartender was awesome attending to our needs. There’s a good reason why the Embassy Altamonte booked was full first during my week (a few in my party had to go elsewhere).

I was here during spring break in March 2004. There were a thousand young kids 18-23; and only 50 adults on vacation. Please visit at a different time. Out of our five day stay, we only received two days of maid service.

I was hard to dial on the phone, they had hard tile floors, separate buildings, and no elevators. The food service is slow and average, (maybe high-roller casino hotels are better?), and I visited but didn't stay. It was noisy from 9 am on, but again it was all about the kids, of which I am, but don't admit.
