We've just returned from our five night stay at the Comfort Inn in Portland (NE Wasco). Let me say that the staff was great, and the hotel is very clean. However, the neighborhood was rather seedy; I am a runner, but wouldn't step out for my morning or my evening run! Also, there are no amenities there, no small shops to purchase small items one may need, a poorly run vending machine, and only one laundry room with one washer and only one dryer. This hotel is rated 3 stars, but I'd say it was more of a 2.

I am not likely to return to the Country Inn and Suites Portland.

I would not recommend it to friends.

We brought our kids to this hotel, hoping it would be halfway decent because it is so close to Disneyland. While it is, the hotel is gross, the floors are super dirty, the furniture is the same, and everything was horrible there. I wouldn't let the kids near the pool, even that looked pretty nasty. I wouldn't stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

We have returned twice to Hojo's at Anaheim and must say we love it. It’s very kid friendly and very comfortable. The rooms were clean, convenient to Disneyland/California Adventure, and filled with amenities that families need (small sundry store, free and numerous parking stalls).

It is also centrally located to some of the best family type of restaurants, including Mimi's, and has some great pools for the kids, as well as toddlers. It was well worth every dollar spent, and more!
