Nothing special. Arrived just for a night. Got a handicap room on the first floor next to the pool. Only positive was it opened up onto the beach level. If i had been there any period of time not sure i would have liked people on the boardwalk walking by all times of the day and night. Staff was pleasant, but took a moment to get in and out at the late hour I arrived due to locked doors. Overall, nothing special, but it was a bed.

Amazing, but HUGE hotel! Checking area was incredible, if not even a little over the top. Very nice bellhop and desk staff. Stayed in the Venezia (club) tower, with private entrance. Nothing special however to pay the extra price for. Suites were very nice. Loved the dual floor separations. Bathrooms were amazing. Pools were a step up of class. Room service was decent, but expensive as expected. Restaurants the same. Spa was OK, not to the level I would have expected for the rest of the hotel. If you plan on going, wear your walking shoes! Its a hike to anything!

Had a good time at Planet Hollywood (It was being converted from the Aladdin when I was there, so only said Planet Hollywood on the signs). Rooms were clean and comfortable. Although I was on a no-smoking floor, there was a strong smoke filled room odor which annoyed me. Check in staff was helpful. Food areas, casinos, etc were all what I would expect, although it was hard getting seating at dinner time in many of them. The spa was decent, but nothing special. Will definitely return.

Enjoy the Tropicana every time I am there. I usually stay in the more expensive Havana Tower now however. The north tower when I stayed was old, 80's style rooms with no internet. I understand that it has been remodeled, but I enjoy being closer to the "Quarters" for the night life anyway. A little expensive, but you are in AC.
