This hotel has definitely seen better days, and shows a lot of wear in the carpets, outdated decor and lack of quality amenities. At around $80/night, it was pretty cheap, and I guess you get what you pay for. One example was the ice machine in the hallway that was very loud and sounded like it was draining water continually.

Apparently the top floor has been remodeled but I didn't get a chance to see it or stay here. We had a beer at the bar on premises, but the crowd was very local and it was crowded (at least on a Friday night.) And the included breakfast was rather dicey and institutional in feel. I grabbed a cup of coffee and headed out.

By the way, the website for this hotel is really misleading. It's by no way a resort type feel. The pool is enclosed by a concrete wall, surrounded by a parking lot.

I was impressed at the level of amenities at the hotel and my room. It really didn't feel like a Disney resort even though it's located right in the heart of the park, across from MGM Studios.

I had a nice jog around the boardwalk area (it's about a mile loop) and got a nice workout at the gym (though I didn't like paying the extra fee to use it, and was surprised at how small it was - I guess people visiting Disney World aren't there to exercise!) And the pool was relaxing and had a lot of water features and slides for the little ones.

There were some really high end restaurants at the resort, and I had a great dinner at Shula's steakhouse and then drinks at the (amazingly crowded) Jellyroll dueling pianos bar.

My only complaint about the stay was that after a trip to Downtown Disney, the bus took over 30 minutes to show up to take us back.

I stayed here for a few days as part of a conference, and overall it was a nice place to stay. There's a fair amount to do at the resort (pool, golf - not that I did any of this) but I wouldn't necessarily come back here for a vacation as it's a long way removed from the rest of Orlando attractions and restaurants (about 12 minutes to DisneyWorld, assuming no traffic.)

The resort has many nice pools, including a formal pool with cabanas, and kids-oriented pools with a water slide, fountains and a lazy river. The workout room is quite nice: large, no-extra cost and had all the equipment of my home gym.

Service from the front desk was great and my room was as expected, and very quiet which I appreciated.

This is a large business-oriented hotel in the heart of western Berlin, rich with amenities and services (but lacking in Berlin charm, if that's what you're going for.)

My room was very nicely appointed with a comfortable bed, contemporary and interesting furniture and decor, and a luxurious bathroom. Internet access (wired) was free and extremely fast and reliable. The front desk staff was efficient, professional and friendly.

The only downsides was that the bar, while nice enough for a drink, didn't have a lot of character or activity. And the workout room only had a few treadmills and stationary bikes - no weights (which was surprising).

I'd very much recommend it to any business traveler.
