Mostly good, some quirks
Mostly this was a really nice hotel, I lived there for almost a month on a study abroad program. The rooms are roomy, clean, and seem to be up to date in terms of styles. There is also a nice safe in the room for security. The location is really nice also, close to the Metro and many landmarks, as well as a few blocks away from a great nightlife street (but far away enough to be quiet).
However, there are a couple of quirks to be aware of:
- For an extended-stay hotel, the laundry facilities are pretty small and expensive - there are more affordable laundromats in the neighborhood.
- The climate control doesn't work if the window is open even a little bit
- They only wash the dishes twice a week, but each room has hardly enough dishes to last that long, meaning that people have to essentially wash their own dishes unless they eat out every night. The same goes for cleaning the rooms and making the beds.
- The lower floors hear some street noise and rumblings from the Metro down below.
Overall, it is a nice hotel to stay at. There is always at least one desk person on duty who knows English too.
