Nice hotel, but bad technology.

This hotel is really cool but needs some updates.

Good: The rooms varied widely from one another, including some very large rooms with outdoor terraces. Even the small rooms were in good shape and quite charming. The attached restaurant has great food.

Bad: The high-speed internet wasn't working. The shower took some time to heat up. Limited TV selection.

Overall this is a really charming hotel.

I am very likely to return to the Best Western Hotel Le Luxembourg.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Not very nice

This hotel doesn't have a whole lot going for it. When I got there, the room had three really big spiders in the corner. Housekeeping only cleans every few days. To further complicate things, it isn't that close to the middle of town, so it is a bit of a walk to most attractions. The view isn't that good either; the back of the hotel just overlooks some apartment buildings and you can't see the river. I think they only gave us one key per room (we were there on a study abroad thing and our group stayed there for three days; each room had two or three people in it so we had to coordinate with them regarding keys since we only got one). Overall, I really would rather have had a different hotel.

I am not likely to return to the Appart'City Cap Affaires.
I would not recommend it to friends.

Mostly good, some quirks

Mostly this was a really nice hotel, I lived there for almost a month on a study abroad program. The rooms are roomy, clean, and seem to be up to date in terms of styles. There is also a nice safe in the room for security. The location is really nice also, close to the Metro and many landmarks, as well as a few blocks away from a great nightlife street (but far away enough to be quiet).

However, there are a couple of quirks to be aware of:

- For an extended-stay hotel, the laundry facilities are pretty small and expensive - there are more affordable laundromats in the neighborhood.

- The climate control doesn't work if the window is open even a little bit

- They only wash the dishes twice a week, but each room has hardly enough dishes to last that long, meaning that people have to essentially wash their own dishes unless they eat out every night. The same goes for cleaning the rooms and making the beds.

- The lower floors hear some street noise and rumblings from the Metro down below.

Overall, it is a nice hotel to stay at. There is always at least one desk person on duty who knows English too.

I am very likely to return to the Citadines Orion Paris Bastille.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

A good value, good shape, bad area

The rooms were very clean. The standard toiletries were provided. The location is convenient, but it is in the middle of the ghetto, although the hotel itself is in nice shape. I wouldn't keep any valuables in the car, however. Our room was on the second floor and pretty soundproof, but the A/C was loud. The value was good, we paid $55 for a night. This hotel is AAA approved. Check-in took quite some time, mainly because of only one person working at 8 PM and a line formed. We did not make use of the pool or airport shuttle, as we were at the beginning of a road trip, so I can't comment on those.

I am very likely to return to the Econo Lodge Phoenix.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
