Extremely Rustic
I stayed in one of the small cabins. It was very basic and rustic, to the point of being somewhat charming. It snowed during the night, which made it even more charming.
The good: Well, there is a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in the room, but that's about it. There is a small store in the main "lodge" where you can buy essentials. There is a restaurant across the road. The bed was fairly soft, but that's because it is well worn. Close to Crater Lake National Park.
The bad: Small room. No TV. Small bathroom. Worn and stained furniture. Room didn't seem all that clean. Unprofessionally patched tile in bathroom. Leaky Faucet. Broken blinds. No WiFi. The rooms in the main "lodge" have shared bathrooms. Expensive for what you get.
Overall, even though I'm rating this a 3 due to the items listed above, it is very rustic and somewhat charming. It would have been more fun if my wife was along, but without a TV or reading material, it was boring. I might even stay here again if my wife was with me.
