Expected a lot more...
The hotel description says: prestigious. NOT!!!! Yes, when you walk into the lobby the place looks nice. However the staff at the front desk was very rude. We booked a room on one of the top floors with a view of the river with a king. When we arrived 1 hour early to check-in, lobby staff replied, sorry your early, no rooms are ready, all we have is bottom floors, ok, we just wanted to check in so, we went up. Entered room with two double beds! WTF! We go back down and are told that we would have to wait another 2 hours for a room with a king in, it. So we decide to. One good thing about this hotel is it is close to all tourist attractions. So we finally get into the room. Vents for air conditioner are covered with mold and other dust stuff. Bathroom looks like the "70's forgot" dirty shower curtail, here's a kicker, I'm only 5'10" average height, every time I went to take a shower I had to be very careful not to knock my self out cause they put this huge shelf right where a person would enter for a shower. No fan in the bathroom. Our 25" TV set had no on button, someone had pressed it into and through, only could turn on via remote. Bar down stairs is only filled with stupid stuffy people who want to watch news all day and they have no good regular apps to eat. Other lounge was closed all 3 days I stayed. Downstairs mall area is close by but feels like ghetto mall, keep your girl close while walking. Parking situation is just a mess! if you stay there make sure you check the exact time you parked! I had to pay an additional $30 cause I left 10 minutes after, making it count for another 24 hour period - totally stupid, don't have enough time to complain all about that.
