We stayed for three nights on a WI Dells trip. The hotel is located 15-20 min. from the Dells. This may not seem like a long drive but when you are tired after a long day this can be a very long trip back to the hotel.

The hotel has a nice Northwood's themed lobby. They have a very large pool with two hot tubs. We had a two room king suite. It was large, clean and had nice furniture. The second day our room was not cleaned. Trash was left overflowing, the bathroom was not cleaned, beds not made, towels & shampoo/soap not replenished. The worse thing was that a bag of salt water taffy & fudge was missing from our room after it was "cleaned". The rooms may look nice but they have serious service problems. I would never stay here again.

This hotel is a little hard to find. We had a jacuzzi suite. It was very clean. The furniture & bedding were updated. The towels were very plush & the new "Simple" tolitries line is nice. On the bed you have your choice of soft or firm pillows. They have lots of small touches that you would expect at the larger hotels, not at a Holiday Inn. I would stay here again.

There was a Fairfield, Comfort Inn and Country Inn all off the highway. Of the three the Country Inn looked the newest and cleanest. The lobby was nice and they have a lending library. The room was fairly nice. There were a few housekeeping issues. There was a long black hair on the toilet seat and no shampoo in the room. The kids enjoyed the pool, it is fairly small. They have a free hot breakfast, with waffles, eggs, biscuts and gravy. It was very popular. The hotel is across the street from a small shopping mall.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite, that sleeps 10. Calling the room a suite, is a stretch of the imagination. It would sleep 10, but one of the bunkbeds was dangerously broken. It is very spartan, with 70's bedspreads, polyster curtains that don't cover the windows properly and no artwork on the walls. The room also has a very strange layout, you enter through a very narrow hallway kitchenette. It was clean and funtional.

The pool is very popular with families. Very crowded. They do have breakfast but be prepared to pay, it is not free. It is quite expensive.
