We were promised a double occupancy room with an extra bed 3 times on 3 different calls. Upon arrival we were told these rooms were not offered and to upgrade to a Jr. Suite with an extra bed we had to pay more than double the promised rate. The overnight front desk refused to call management and wanted to place the blame on us for not taking the names of the people we spoke to; and refused to even offer an apology for the error.

We ended up walking the streets of Mexico looking for another hotel at 1:00am.

We were lied about a double occupancy room with an extra bed. 3 times we called to assure it would be available and to make sure the rate promised wouldn't change; on the day of arrival the room was not available, the rate to upgrade to a Jr. Suite was more than double what was promised and the overnight desk insisted it was our fault for not writing down the names of the people we spoke to and refused to contact management for assistance.

We ended up at 1:00am walking the streets of Mexico looking for another hotel.
