Just what we needed after a long winter on being stuck inside. We "escaped" to NH for a week of skiing and stayed at the Fairfield located right off the highway, the staff was so friendly, breakfast was amazing, omlets, hashbrowns, waffles...
26 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
I was here some time in the Spring of 2006 and once after that. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The first time I went was in Spring, 2006 and I had booked a room there a few weeks in advance. When I got there I was shocked to see construction crews and large machinery swarming the building. When I got inside I was instantly hit with the smell of paint fumes and plaster. I asked the people at the desk why they had not notified me of this before I got there. They said "we don't have to, only our manager would do that." They told me not to worry about it and that my room was in a quiet section of the building. I get up to my room which was like a studio suite and there were workers right next door hammering away. So I open my room and what do I find 2 workers sitting on the couch watching TV. I went back down to the desk and complained and they got the workers out of there. Right about 9:00 PM Eastern Time the workers had gone home and the place was nice and quiet. I was just going to sleep when suddenly I heard knocking on my door and the Hotel Manager was there. The hotel manager said, "We will have to vacate you from the building if you harass the workers again." I said forget about I'm taking my business to the Comfort inn down the street. I did just that and when I left I told the guy I was a Marriott Rewards Customer and Marriott would be hearing about this.
My Second Trip to this hotel was unexpected. I was traveling with my boss and he had made Hotel reservations and I had no idea he made it for the same Farfield Inn. I dealt with it at first. The place was done with the construction, me and my boss ate at a nice restraunt by the Capitol building which is actually very close to the hotel. When I came back I decided to go for a swim, the pool was small but nice and clean, until I noticed all sorts of weird bugs floating in the water. I don't know how that happened it was an indoor pool. I get back to my room and got to sleep but when I got into the bed it was wet. Someone probably a maid had spilled water under the sheets and when I went to change rooms I was given a thing of Paper towels and asked to deal with it.
Altogether an awful hotel I would stay at the Comfort inn down the street or in Nearby Manchester.
I have stayed at this hotel twice before. Once in 2005 and now just recently in August 2007. The first time I went here was on a stop to Canada. It was early spring and was actually quite warm. The hotel is right of the Interstate and is on a small...

Good
We liked everything about the hotel except that the bed had a mattress that was too soft for us. We liked everything else from the breakfast, free newspaper, to the room furniture which included and comfortable chair in which to watch TV...
