51 year old male with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

A little bit of Switzerland in Utah!!. Zermatt is a brand new property that just opened up in June. Their Grand Opening is not until September but the property is very nice as is. The rooms are very comfortable, the food is excellent, and they have a wonderful pool and workout room. The service is very friendly and polite but lacking in some experience. The landscaping is still being finished but when it is complete, it will be beautiful. And FYI, they have a ton of excellent, cheap golf within minutes of the resort.

I am very likely to return to the Zermatt Resort and Spa.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

35 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

Nice new building and location, but terrible customer service. We left the hotel a day early after room service technical difficulties and uncompromising management soured our family vacation. We will not be using them in the future and instead will be sticking with Marriott properties.

You felt like you really went somewhere swiss and the staff seemed to enjoy helping you when needed. We went with a child and had a great family time but I'd love to go back for a couples weekend and enjoy it again just the two of us. Great Spa!

This resort seems beautiful, but beware

Everything about this beautiful location screams wonderful. But beneath the surface it was a different story.

The construction on the building was terrible. Every footstep, every shower, every toilet flush could be heard from our room.

When we asked, the staff gladly switched us to another room in another building. However, the construction there was no better.

We could hear people in the hallways and machinery outside the window. We checked out early but were still charged for the full weekend.

We'll never go back for any price and cannot recommend to anyone.

We stayed at the first phase of Zermatt Resort & Spa. We wanted to ski at Park City and the price was unbeatable. The grand opening isn't going to be until June 2006 so we didn't have access to restaurants, pool, spa, etc. If you're looking for a full-service resort, come back in 2006. But for just a room, the price and location were perfect. We can't wait to come back and stay when the resort is open.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Zermatt Resort and Spa.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
