If you want to get away to great place this is a wise choice. Awesome little cabins on a quiet lake with kayaks and rowboats for the guests. A couple of things though, bring a small office refrigerator with you or plenty of ice chests. No TVs, no cell phones, but this is the place to detach from the rest of the world. Bring a laptop with DVDs for those having trouble detaching. The bathrooms and spring fed tubs are pretty cool. Bring a table- top propane grill and two burner camping stove because you will be cooking your meals on the picnic table, outside your cabin on the lake. For a little little preparation this place pays a big return for pure relaxation. This is not a spa for the high- maintainance types. This is camping with class.The lake is quiet and gorgeous. No jet-skis or motor boats just the sound of the local ducks and birds. Bring your own kayak. The swim beach has a great little floating dive platform anchored only a short swim to the shore. Great for hiking or mountain biking. Within 30 miles you can visit more wineries than you will have time for, in one of the areas where they filmed 'Sideways' or go shopping in Solvang. Maybe you will get there and not want to leave at all.
