The location and the quality of the hotel, the room and the food service was fine. I objected to paying for an extra night when that night had been cancelled.
The location in the Yosemite Valley is without equal.
I am very likely
to return to the Yosemite View Lodge.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

We liked the convenience of the hotel, they had a shuttle bus take us into Yosemite. The hotel was clean and large. Enjoyed the small kitchen with microwave and stove. The only thing we did not like is the beds were not comfortable. It would be nice if you would invest in better beds. The store downstairs was nice.

This was a wonderful experience as the scenery was incredibly beautiful. Matching the surroundings were incredible staff who really knew how to make their guests feel welcome.
We had been driving for hours, and arrived tired and cranky. The front office desk sensed our need to unwind, and proceeded to check us in quickly and with great courtesy.

This was my first time at the Yosemite View Lodge and I had a great time. The reception personnel were friendly and very efficient. The room was very spacious and it was spotless. The room was cleaned every day and the service usually was done before noon.
The restaurant is okay but not great (what I expected). It was convenient and not too expensive. The breakfast buffet was generous but for a person who eats a small breakfast, I lost money. The fact the the dining room only stays open to 9:30 or 10 (Fri/Sat) didn't cause any problems.
The kitchenette in the unit was very convenient. I will be going back.

We love this hotel. We have come here every year in the spring and really like staying here. It's always been easy to check-in, the rooms are spacious and clean, the views are great, and sitting in a hot tub with the Merced River raging right next to you, is incredible. It's so close to the gate and very convenient to Yosemite. The pizza is really good. I only ate brunch in the main restaurant so can't give a fair review of it. We will be sure to come back next year.
