It's an excellent place in a great location. It is well worth the price and fun on top of that. Very glad we discovered it.

This hotel made me feel welcome: We received friendly and prompt attention at check in. The staff did not wait to answer questions but volunteered information they thought we might want to know. They were obviously proud of the hotel.

This hotel was in a great location - central to places we wanted to see and close to public transportation. But the room was not as clean as I would have liked. The staff was efficient and polite, but not overly friendly. They did provide good information about transportation and attractions. I would recommend this hotel to people who just need a comfortable place to stay. There were not a lot of things to do in the hotel itself, but we don't do anything but shower and sleep in the hotel, so it was perfect for our needs.

The hotel staff changed my reservation to allow me to stay in the room Alfred Hitchcock used in "Vertigo." It was one of the cooler hotel experiences I've ever had.
