Good
Great location for getting to the mountain or to town. The inn has wonderfully decorated and charming rooms. The accommodations were clean and the staff is very friendly. The outdoor pool was a great hit.
There are so many better places to stay in Stowe! We checked in for our 25th anniversary and from check in to check out we had problems with the staff, the food, parking, the tv did not work and the sink was clogged. We excaped to the new Stowe...

Horrible
Overpriced food. Rude front desk staff and a room that could have used an industrial strength cleaning. The hallways were tattered and our bathroom was the stuff of nightmares. Hair in the sink, gum under the counters and black slime in the...

What a horrible dump. The owner "Kris" was a complete idiot. That and the fact that he was very, very drunk did not help my wife relax as he made come on after come on to her. It's lucky he is old and balding or I'd have knocked his block off. The rooms were dark, stained, and smelled of sour milk. The bathroom lights did not work properly and the shower curtains were stained with black spots. To add insult to injury the added "fees" to our bill. Many other guests we met grumbled of similar treatment from kris and his rude staff. Stay ANYWHERE ELSE. The Olde England inn is a DUMP! Never, ever again. There are so many better places to stay in stowe -stay away.

I had my wedding here, BIG MISTAKE! I was drawn in by a promise to commitment to excellence and well do anything. Etc, etc. My guests were changed for things they didnt use/order/eat/drink. They tried to change people for rooms they didnt order. They messed up reservations that I and others had, forgetting to save rooms on one hand and then charging for people for the non-existing reservation when they left. Several hundred dollars of tabs to rooms were never authorized. My cake that I ordered from them and gave pictures as to how I wanted it was a disaster. It turned out completely opposite from what I wanted with pieces falling off. It tasted horrible too and most everyone didnt eat it. I wasnt allowed to decorate my area because it wasnt set up until late in the day. I could go on but you get the picture.
*i like this place because it's a beautiful place.the service also very good.i like the room because i feel very comfortable.i sleep in the room.the food also not bad.the price that i have to pay is not to expensive and not to cheap, just nice and...
It was many many years ago when I had the immense pleasure of staying at the Inne as a guest of Chris & Lynne Francis whom I had met whilst working in the dusty northern desert of Arabia, not far from the tranquil blue bright shores of Aqaba. What I ...
