20 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

We stayed at this hotel as part of a Grand Canyon railway package. It really was nothing special. There were some disgusting looking stains on the wall near the bed. The bathroom was too small for a family of five. Beds were uncomfortable, and the mattress cover kept moving while we tried to sleep, revealing a stained-looking mattress. Check-in took a while. The man at the desk didn't know what we were supposed to do with our luggage for the train. Food at the cafeteria was ok at best, way overpriced. The one redeeming quality was its location to the shuttle buses.

I am not likely to return to the Yavapai Lodge.
I would not recommend it to friends.

36 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

Being inside the Grand Canyon National Park, the proximity to the Canyon, and all it offers was great. It’s a fairly good value as well.

This hotel made me feel practical: It was convenient to all park amenities and therefore eliminated the use of our car during our stay at the Canyon.

I am very likely to return to the Yavapai Lodge.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

57 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

The hotel was adequate, nothing special. There was little noise and the place was restful. It was way expensive for the age and accommodations.

I am not likely to return to the Yavapai Lodge.
I might recommend it to friends.

It was great, just what we needed after the drive and the tours. It's a nice place to stay, close to buses, tours, and all you need. It is rather expensive but you have to pay for the location.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Yavapai Lodge.
I might recommend it to friends.

58 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

The food is very expensive and not tasty. The hotel was clean but it could use stronger fans in the living area.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Yavapai Lodge.
I might recommend it to friends.
