I stayed at the Wynn for the first time and was wowed by the beauty of the hotel inside and out. Even our basic room had nice touches like a wall-mounted LCD TV's in both the room and bathroom. As expected, the room was spotless and had a very new feel to it. The Wynn, like other hotels on the strip, has a poker rate. If you play 6 hours of poker each day, the room rate is discounted by approximately 50%. Luckily, the Wynn's poker room is one of the finest (though not quite as much action as, say, the Bellagio) so killing 6 hours per day is pretty easy - especially if you split the hours with another guest in your room.
The only major issue that we experienced during our stay was in obtaining a rollaway bed for a third person who was staying with us. When we checked-in, I had requested the rollaway and was promised that it would be delivered to our room ASAP and was even told the usual $50 charge for it would be waived. I was very pleased. However, no such rollaway arrived. As it turned out, we ended up having to call 3 times before a rollaway bed finally came. In fact, one time I called I was told that a rollaway could not be delivered because it would be a "fire hazard". Rrright.
Aside from this incident, we were very happy with our stay at the Wynn. It's a beautiful hotel and quite possibly has the most relaxed environment of any casino hotel on the strip.
