member icon Snobby check in and player's club staff
Posted Apr 29, 07 by tector, 2 reviews
57 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

The casino is large with a large variety of slots and table games. Desk staff was snobby and the player's club staff was almost unfriendly. The food is average at best. The buffet reminds me of a diner in decor. The valet parking is fast, efficient, and friendly. There are two valet locations, so if you call ahead for your car, be sure to specify which one want it delivered to.

This hotel is too expensive and not family friendly! It was very difficult to relax since we had noisy neighbors.

itsrishi icon Serenity on the Vegas strip

I stayed at the Wynn for the first time and was wowed by the beauty of the hotel inside and out. Even our basic room had nice touches like a wall-mounted LCD TV's in both the room and bathroom. As expected, the room was spotless and had a very new feel to it. The Wynn, like other hotels on the strip, has a poker rate. If you play 6 hours of poker each day, the room rate is discounted by approximately 50%. Luckily, the Wynn's poker room is one of the finest (though not quite as much action as, say, the Bellagio) so killing 6 hours per day is pretty easy - especially if you split the hours with another guest in your room.

The only major issue that we experienced during our stay was in obtaining a rollaway bed for a third person who was staying with us. When we checked-in, I had requested the rollaway and was promised that it would be delivered to our room ASAP and was even told the usual $50 charge for it would be waived. I was very pleased. However, no such rollaway arrived. As it turned out, we ended up having to call 3 times before a rollaway bed finally came. In fact, one time I called I was told that a rollaway could not be delivered because it would be a "fire hazard". Rrright.

Aside from this incident, we were very happy with our stay at the Wynn. It's a beautiful hotel and quite possibly has the most relaxed environment of any casino hotel on the strip.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was incredible. They were as kind to the average guest as they were to the wealthy guests. They were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has its own shopping and it is on the main strip and close to outside shopping and sights and other hotels. It was a very memorable experience.

This hotel made me feel excited: I was excited to see how this hotel compared to the Bellagio hotel and I was surprised and excited to be staying there. It was much different than expected. I loved it! The hotel was beautiful and I had a blast exploring and feeling as though I belonged there as much as the next person. The staff was unbelievable! Their respect for all the guests and the enthusiasm with which they assisted their guests was truly one of the best experiences I have had in quite some time.

I am very likely to return to the Wynn Las Vegas.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I was disappointed in the amenities the hotel had to offer as far as what was included in the very high price of the room. When I checked out I was charged for several mini bar items that I did not use and I had to file a dispute with the hotel. The gym and the spa were lovely, but still much more expensive than they should have been given that our discounted corporate rate for the rooms was three hundred dollars per night. My company booked six hundred rooms and I was surprised that the hotel did not offer some extras for the booking.

I am not likely to return to the Wynn Las Vegas.
I might recommend it to friends.

This is a very nice place to stay. We stay here whenever they offer us a free room. Otherwise, this hotel is out of our price range. The beds are comfortable and the staff is extremely courteous. This is not a place to stay if you are on a budget.

Guest registration requires one to walk through the entire casino to get there. It is too far removed. I just want to check-in, get to the room and get ready to have a good time afterwards. I cannot believe coffee makers aren't provided in the rooms. The majority of hotels throughout the country now offer this amenity. But, the Wynn charged almost thirty dollars for a four-cup pot. It is ridiculous.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Wynn Las Vegas.
I might recommend it to friends.
