It was a great hotel, clean, safe area, close to the casino. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast at the restaurant was very good.

We traveled with eight women, all of whom are very choosy about were we stay and the cleanliness of rooms and I have to say that we were all very pleased, some of whom are returning to New Orleans and will be staying at this hotel again.

We have stayed at this hotel many times previously and were pleasantly surprised to receive the same quality service as we did previous to Hurricane Katrina. The location was wonderful for French Market shopping, entertainment and award winning restaurants. It was our pleasure to be a guest at the Wyndham at Canal Place.

This hotel made me feel extravagent: Staying at the Wyndham made me feel extravagant because it was a luxury hotel and unlike at home, I did not have to do any housework.

The location was perfect. The views of the river were outstanding. The restaurant had great food, service and view. The bar had very nice bartender and good selection. The hotel looked a little worn though and was in need of some refurbishment, especially carpets. The rooftop pool had outstanding views all around and was a very nice area once you got up there. But it was a long haul to get up there, including walking up a flight of stairs, then wrestling with the door while trying not to fall down the stairs.

The bell staff was very friendly. I did not get housekeeping the first day. It was very close to the French Quarter.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: My bed was comfortable and my room had great view.

The bathroom stool plugged up and they were very efficient and quick about correcting the problem. It's a very nice hotel and the help was the same. It was unusual, with the check in counter on the 11th floor. I enjoyed my stay.

I spent 8 days at the Wyndham at Canal Place in July. My accommodations were excellent, with an awesome view of the Mississippi by day and the lights of the French Quarter by night.

My room was cleaned daily and if there was something I needed or did not work, it was taken care of immediately.

All the staff truly represented the hotel and New Orleans, in a warm, responsive manner.

The food in the restaurant was excellent, although the lunch and dinner items could had been expanded with more offerings.

Checking in and out was easy and very simple.

The lobby is located on the 11th floor, and it was breathtaking.

This hotel, although changing ownership in 2007, will still be worth the visit!

It was our fourth stay at the Wyndham New Orleans at Canal Place hotel, we have always received the same consistent high level of accommodation.

Being a loyalty member, everything you request is always in your room when you get there.

Wyndham New Orleans at Canal Palace was a great hotel. The dining experience was made very enjoyable by the staff. The room was super and very accommodating.

It was my birthday trip and it was very enjoyable.

This hotel made me feel elegant: I just loved the room with its view of the river.

Other than the dirty coffee cups, lack of condiments for the coffee, only decaf in room, no trash can for the restroom, it was great. Also, it almost seemed like the room service was interrupted before they finished, and then forgot to come back.

They had excellent service and a beautiful hotel in a good location also.
