We stayed at the Wyndham Jacksonville Riverwalk for a week long conference. When we arrived there were not enough bathroom linens. The first night we were there the fire alarm went off FOUR TIMES between 3 and 4 a.m. It went off in the middle of the night a total of 4 of the 7 nights we were there, at least 2-3 times each night. Housekeeping was not timely. One day we did not even get our room cleaned as housekeeping showed up at around 5 p.m., while we were dressing for a banquet. The closets are so small and not nearly wide enough to handle a regular hanger, they jam your clothes when the doors are closed. The bathrooms are so small you can barely turn around. There are no mirrors in the bedroom area, only a mirror over the sink and closet door directly across from the sink. This area is so small that when one person is at the sink another cannot get into the closet. The rooms themselves are very small. The area around the toilet was a permanent brownish color. The coffee pots provided are awful. They only make one cup of coffee at a time and the paper cups supplied do not keep the coffee warm.
A panhandler accosted us near the elevator area at 8:30 one morning.
All in all it was a very bad experience. If you want a good night's sleep it is suggested that you go elsewhere.
