Wyndham Jacksonville Riverwalk Hotel - Page 2

Our club has stayed at this hotel for our club break for 4-5 years. We really had a ball every year we were there.

Our rooms were good, our service was good, and we really enjoyed the view from all angles. We are supposed to have our break there this year in October 2007, and we are looking forward to hanging out there.

This will be our first year returning since they changed the name to Windham Riverwalk from Raddison Riverwalk.

If you want a horrific stay in a nice city, then by all means, choose this dump.

If you like a room that is dusty, crusty, and smelly, then you will love what this place has to offer. I have no idea how this place stole the Wyndham name, but it is a colossal rip-off.

The room was dusty, the bathroom was cramped, and if it were not for the fact that it was so close to the river, I'd have left earlier. I cannot believe my employer chose this dump, I think we would have come out better if we'd have pitched tents in the woods; at least then we would have known what to expect.

Take my advice steer clear of this place, unless you like overpriced roach motels.

They had no restaurant at night, and their bar service was bad. Their staff was unfriendly and they had a filthy lobby. I had to go to the Crown Plaza, I wouldn't stay another night here.

I am still suffering from my weekend at this hotel. We went as a family and we had three rooms. All three were smelly with mold and mildew. I knew my allergies would kick in as soon as I opened the first door, but I stayed anyway. In hindsight, I should have slept in my car, as should have my 7 year old granddaughter. The hotel is in dire need of updating and cleaning up.

The bathtub didn't drain, and it was a race every morning to see if we could get our shower in before the tub overflowed. The Riverwalk area is fine, and I'd stay in the area again, but never at this hotel.

It’s in a great location, but this hotel is in a state of disrepair. There was mold in my room, it was overpriced, and they had bad service. I'd leave this one out.

I stayed at this property for a very long weekend. The hotel upgraded me to the Governor's suite. It was absolutely beautiful, I had an amazing view, it was just everything I could ask for, and the room services were fabulous. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was good. The beds were comfortable.
