Wyndham Garden Hotel McAllen Hotel - Page 1

First, I was very shocked to find Wyndham's name included with this hotel. I've been to several Wyndham hotels and never seen one like this before. The carpets look like they haven't been changed since the 70's. I was afraid that the elevators were going to broke down when I was using them. Missing lights inside the elevator and a cheap perfume smell in both of them.So, if I wasn't carrying anything I would just use the stairs. I except a hotel in that bad of shape a lot cheaper than it was.This is a lesson learned and I will not pick a hotel again based on the brand name again.

The only problem was the telephone cord shorted out in the wall wiring receptacle and the wall receptacle (telephone jack) had to be replaced. The maintenance man was quick, thorough, and courteous. He had the problem fixed in less than five minutes.

The staff was very rude. I was extremely disappointed.
