I was initially told my request for a non-smoking room could not be met. The initial hotel desk person was rude about it as well. After asking and seeing a manager I was told I could have a non-smoking room within two hours.

This hotel made me feel practical: The hotel accommodations were very nice for price range and level of hotel.

The stay was excellent once my arrival was straightened out. I was told that non-smoking would not be available for my stay. After my insistence, they checked my bags and when I came back ninety minutes later there was a non-smoking room. The stay was great after that and the desk staff was accommodating. My advice for others was the hotel airport shuttle was too expensive. It was sixteen dollar. You can take the train for one dollar and seventy-five cents.

It was in an easy walking distance to downtown attractions. The taxis were available on site. The security was visible at all times.

This hotel made me feel welcome: Upon entering the lobby I was greeted by the desk staff. I was greeted promptly when entering the cafe. The staff always had friendly smile and greeting.

The TV turned itself on and off and finally got it replaced. The food in the restaurant was not of the quality of normal Marriotts and it was more expensive. The room rate increased while a conference was in town even though we had made reservations three months in advance.

This hotel made me feel secure: Upon arrival I observed a security guard between the Courtyard and Fairfield Inn. It is gated and has a manned entry to the property for both hotels. Day and night security was or seemed to be around. I met a couple of the security personnel and they were very pleasant but attentive to their duties.

I was so delighted when a friend stopped by the hotel looking for me and the desk clerk who had checked me in hours before pointed me out to her -- he remembered my name! Wow! And the food from room service was very good.

This hotel made me feel important: The desk clerk remembered my name. The maid pushed the elevator button for me when she saw my hands were full. There's nice furniture in the lobby to sit on while I searched my bag for my room key.

The hotel is in a nice location. The staff was good. It made me feel safe.

Nothing particularly stands out about the hotel; we were attending a convention in a nearby hotel, so all we really did was sleep at the Courtyard by Marriott, and buy a few drinks/snacks from their vending area. The room was acceptable, and we slept fine all three nights we were there.

Did not offer any courtesy bus service otherwise nice place.
