I booked a stay at this Cleveland location for my boyfriends 30th birthday for three days & ended up paying $482 for the stay total which was high for a hotel with basic amenities. They had construction all around the hotel making it a pain to park anywhere & get around. Unless you pay the $22 a day for valet parking, then you have to pick & choose a safe parking garage to park your car & they charge about $13 a day to park your car but the one we stayed in closes it after 3:00 & you have to go across a building to get a guard to sign you in & let you get your car, talk about the run around! Not to mention hauling your luggage across the busy streets, past the construction! If that isn't bad enough, the room was very basic that I paid for when I was actually supposed to have been getting an upgraded room, it smelled of old cologne, the bedspread was dirty, there was a condom wrapper & trash left on the entertainment center from a previous guest & I ended up getting charged $50 extra for what reason, I don't know, on my account days later when I didn't get valet, room service or get anything extra....Don stay there, don't waste your money. I would advise a stay at the Hyatt instead.
Made reservations for a 2 night stay online. My reserved room was a non-smoking single, king size bed. The staff was very courteous and everyone had an excellent attitude, from the people at the front desk to the Valet attendants....

I stay at hotels around 5-10 times a year. This was by far the worst I have stayed at in years. The hotel smelled putrid. The room were dirty and smelly. The pool had urine stains on the bottom. The area the hotel was located in was less then desirable. I am extremely disappointed.

The bellhops were very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff did not seem too eager to help. The valet parking staff was very friendly as well. The lighting was low and there were not enough outlets. Ten dollars for internet per day was steep with the two hundred and eighty dollars a night base rate charge. I am doubtful I will stay at a Wyndham again.
I am not likely
to return to the Wyndham Cleveland at Playhouse Square.
I would not recommend it to friends.
