Wyndham
Located one block from Michigan Avenue, this is a very central hotel, with many shops, museums and galleries within walking distance. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet has a good choice of food, especially if you get there early and there are plenty of other places to have lunch and dinner very nearby. The staff are really helpful here and have a good knowledge of the local area, so they can recommend good places to see, if you don't know the city well.

The location was good. The desk clerk, was wonderful. The Saturday afternoon manager had quite a bit of misinformation. The Sunday morning manager was wonderful. The pullout sofa bed was awful. The requested snacks were not in the room. The phones in one of the two rooms did not work, except for the one by the toilet. The bar seemed high priced. We walked down to the Drake to eat brunch. I think that it is ridiculous to pay the prices one pays and not have it include parking.
We had seven in our party, and the desk clerk did everything she could to make us feel wanted.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Wyndham Chicago.
I might recommend it to friends.

The Wyndham Chicago is a great value. Its a four star property located close to the all the shops and the loop. They have a friendly staff and nice rooms, dining, and health club facilities including an indoor pool. The room was a bit dark, being winter and with their green fluorescent lighting.

Great location. Rooms are nice and spacious. Our room had a red stain on the carpet. That was the only blemish about the hotel. Room service is 24 hour, good food, very fast, but pricey. Bathroom was large with nice tile and fixtures.

Okay
The hotel was what you would expect of a nice place on Michigan Ave. however the staff was very snooty, and when I tried to use the high speed internet, it didn't work, I called the front desk, and was told that I could not use it because I had not ...
We got a great deal online, and after reading a couple of reviews I was a little scared about the snobby atmosphere I might encounter. They were so wrong. We were treated like royalty. The concierge was very helpful in finding a location for us! ...

Okay
Great location, comfy bed, large closet in room BUT the room was VERY cold at night & the staff made sure the heat in the rooms would not go above around 68 degrees so they would save money. I posted a similar review about the Westin in Chicago...
