Welcome to the historic Worthington Mansion Bed and Breakfast located in the heart of the downtown Fort Wayne West Central Historic District. The home has been meticulously restored to bring back the elegant atmosphere of the Queen Anne style mansion, while adding all of the modern luxuries including FREE WiFi, hand made bath amenities, gourmet breakfast, wine and cheese each evening, plush terry bath robes, 600 thread count sheets, down bedding, guest library, and more. The Mansion is centrally located to all Fort Wayne attractions and just blocks from the Grand Wayne Convention Center, Allen County Genealogical Library, Embassy Theatre, Arts United Center, Botanical Conservatory and other downtown businesses and attractions. From the moment you enter the historic neighborhood you will be taking a step back in time. Enjoy a carriage ride or ask for a map for a self guided walking tour or one of the most eclectic historic neighborhoods. Once you reach the Mansion you will be greeted in the foyer under the Tiffany glass light by the hand carved oak staircase, which leads to the second floor guest rooms. Guests feel at home in the large parlor with two sitting areas, a piano and fireplace, in our formal dining room under the 4.5 foot tall Swarovski Crystal Chandelier, or in our cozy round library with fireplace. Each of our three guest rooms is uniquely decorated to give an intimate old world feel without sacrifice to modern comfort. The entire mansion also serves as a private gallery for local artists, many of who live in the neighborhood. The Mansion is also available for private events and perfect for weekend get-a-ways with friends and family, tea parties, cocktail receptions, business gatherings, and showers.
