19 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Generally it was a nice hotel and the rooms were nice, but the pool area was lacking greatly and it was older. The most negative part of the stay was getting locked inside the workout room.
I am not likely
to return to the Wintergreen Resort and Conference Center.
I would not recommend it to friends.
We stayed here for 2 nights last weekend. The website is extremely enticing with the photos of the pool however, the place is in need of a fresh coat of paint and definitely some updating. it was shabby. Our rooms were $149/night so not a great...
25 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
When I was searching for a hotel for my boyfriend and me online, the Wintergreen Resort caught my eye because it looked nice and luxurious...When we arrived to our $200 hotel room we were both very disappointed. The room was clean and the hotel was in a nice area, but not what we expected. For $200, the room was small and had an odd aroma, the so called "water park" was nothing but a few kiddie slides and a regular pool. The only large water slide that they had was closed down, even though the front desk told us it was open until 9pm. We were just not impressed. For 20 extra dollars we could have stayed at the Polynesian and enjoyed a very large working water park. I would not recommend this hotel unless you're traveling with children!

The hotel had a good location, there was a large quantity of brochures and free passes and the front desk was very knowledgeable and helpful regarding the town and the surrounding area.
I was a member of the retired military veteran organization and I received full support and recognition from all of the staff.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Wintergreen Resort and Conference Center.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
For $89, we stayed in a clean 2 dbl bed room, had access to their indoor pools with whirlpool, and their 3 outdoor pools which were great for our kids ages 3 and 11.
As a bonus, for each night we received 2 tickets to Mt. Olympus (normally $33 ...
The hotel was in a great location, but that was about it. The room looked like something outdated from the 70's.The bedding was torn and with holes, pillows totally flat. It looks as though they haven't maintained the rooms very well. The...
