I've stayed at this resort twice over the past two years, I would recommend it highly. One bedroom units have two bathrooms each, which is a definite plus!
The area is now quite upscale; they have easy travel connections either by rail (the Coaster) and trolley all the way to Tijuana, or Highway 5 or 15. The Fish Market Restaurant next door is a very lively place to eat! The on-site steakhouse was too pricey for me, but seemed quite busy.

The resort is old but the rooms are okay. The restaurant is really a disco used by the locals. We could hear the base until 2 AM. Not the place to go if you want to get some rest. The nearby beach cost $3 per hour to park. We were so disappointed...
