I was surprised to read reviews from people who enjoyed their stay at this hotel. There are college students living in the hotel, and for a reason unbeknownst to me, we were put on the same wing. It was so noisy at 11:00pm, that I went out to ask...
Not sure why the other reviewer had problems. We've stayed at the Winston Wingate two times and will stay there again next week for our daughter's family weekend at a local college.
This place was horrible! My room stunk like mold and cigarettes, they list a breakfast buffet, but poptarts and stale bread don't really constitute that. It was also nice to be subjected to psychopaths coming in off the street to enjoy this...

I loved the location on the weekends, it is very pleasant because the business traffic leaves and can walk to see the sites in a quiet atmosphere almost like it is not a city!

The staff at this hotel has impressed me the two times have stayed with them in the past year. They are more than willing to assist you in your reservation, including phoning you when there is a room available after the hotel was booked.
