Wyndham Hotel Group
52 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
I stayed at this hotel in Oct. 2007. I usually like Wingate Inns, but this one definitely needs improvement. The carpets were worn, the room furnishings were sparse, the walls in my room needed repainting, electrical outlet covers were missing, there are no convenient restaurants nearby.
The morning breakfast was sub par, I went through three wrapped bagels before I could find one without mold. I pointed this out to the desk clerk/double duty breakfast server, and he did toss out all the bagels at that time. Most hotels of this class do not require such double duty. The managers social consisted of very greasy chicken wings and cans of beer tossed into a cooler located on the floor next to a building pillar. Not classy.
The hotel generally had a grungy feel and was short staffed. After two days I relocated to a much cleaner Hampton Inn.
