The hotel rug could have been cleaner. I felt I could not walk barefoot because it had stains. I called for someone to get my luggage and after waiting forty minutes, I took it down to check out myself.

The problem I had was that I had to ride the escalator to register, I had my suit case in front of me and when I got to the top my suit case got stuck and I fell over it and hurt my arm.

The bathrobes were too small. The maid got me a bigger, brand new robe right away. The restaurant prices were way too high compared to my previous experiences with midtown hotels. The rooms were small and the furniture was uncomfortable.
This hotel made me feel welcome: They had courteous counter personnel and bell captain. They offered instant recommendations for eateries, both internal to the hotel and nearby localities. The entry traffic, cabs, and guests, was unmanaged and congested except after midnight.
