We were woken up to 2 bats flying around one of the bedrooms. There were also bees in the bedroom. We managed to get 1 of them out by the time they sent anyone over. They did not offer to move us or compensate us in any way other than we could stay an extra hour when we checked out!! The next night the same thing - the remaining bat was flying around the cabin and was never caught. There were bat excrament in the shower and god knows what else is in the carpet or the walls? They told us it must have been our fault and we must have left doors open..not true!! We again talked with management and were told there was nothing they could do...so for the low price of $4000 you too can spend a few nights in retreat cabin A with your very own bat(s). Sleep well!

It is a fun place for families. It has clean, plain rooms for families. There are many fun activities for kids. It is busy though and you must not mind dealing with lots of other people. The worse thing is the hallway noise at night time. Kids and people are running up and down the corridors.
I am very likely
to return to the Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
