It looked a little shady at first, but ended up impressing me. I was a walk-in, around midnight, and they were able to accommodate me. I actually work at a very run down 2 star hotel in California, and comparing the Wild Wild West to the hotel I work at, I have to say the Wild Wild West gets my stay any day. True, the bed was a little lumpy, the hotel is a little older, smaller, further away, and maybe not that safe, but the staff was a pleasure to deal with, and the room was more than I would expect for the price, location, and etc. Overall, I think the staff members try, but being in Vegas, its hard to compete with the moneyed hotels. I plan to book ahead of time the next time I stay.
