Though it has been newly renovated, we think of the Whitman House as an established Cambridge residence.
We are a 15 minute walk from both Harvard and MIT, or a 3 minute walk to the local subway which gets you to the heart of either in one stop and the Heart of Boston in three.

Nice people, but it would have been nice if they put out some coffee/tea in the morning and some pastries. They just pointed to the refrigerator and said we could have what we want.

My husband and I recently stayed at this bed and breakfast trying to a void a hotel. The room was on the first floor and the house was very nice, newly renovated and very clean. It had a wonderful TV with cable. The owners were very nice and helpful....
